Network Security

NETWORK SECURITY SERVICES.

YOUR KNIGHT KEEPING YOUR NETWORK SECURE – THAT’S JIMS!

There are a lot of conveniences to modern living. There are also some hazards. Wireless Internet networks are an example. Their convenience is obvious: no more connecting cables to your computer. No more waiting for a computer or a cable to become available. With a wireless network, everyone is online all the time.

There can be problems, though, because unsecured networks can be accessed by others, including people not authorised to have access. Sometimes unauthorised users merely want to steal some free Internet access. In this case, you probably won’t even know it is happening.

Most times they do not, however. Someone who has gone through the trouble of accessing your network is unlikely to be up to any good. In this case, you will know it’s happening, though probably not until after the damage is done.

The dangers are varied. Unauthorised users can access your private information, which could lead to unauthorised purchases or bank transactions. Now, most banks and credit cards offer fraud protection, but sometimes this can be difficult to prove and in any case, it is a hassle. Unauthorised users can also download prohibited materials. Spam, as well as viruses, can be sent to others and everything, including criminal activity, can be traced back to you.

Making It Simple – Jim’s IT Services

If all this sounds confusing, you’re not alone. A lot of people think having your network hacked is something that happens to other people. In the real world, network security violations can happen to anyone at any time. All it requires is an unsecured network and someone trying to access it.

Now, we don’t want to scare you. However, if your network is not secure, or if you are not sure of your network’s status, your Expert Techs at Jim’s can simplify everything for you.

If you’ve secured your network, or think you’ve secured it, then we can tell you how secure it is. If it is not as secure as it should be, we will recommend possible upgrades.

If your network is not secure, Jim’s Expert Techs will secure it for you. We will ensure that only those you want to have access to your network.

As always, our Expert Techs will tell you exactly what your need, exactly what they will provide and how much it will cost. We explain everything so there’s no confusion and, as always, you approve the estimate before any work is performed. And everything we do at Jim’s is guaranteed.

Guaranteed service and peace of mind. – That’s Jim’s!
